A New Age of (Dis)Information

 In younger America we got our information through newspapers. Like, all of it. Everything about the world, the nation, and even more locally was through the newspaper. There were like today, differing papers for differing view points. 

Look at a historical archive website through some old papers and you'll really understand my point better. Entire pages of background info were dedicated to topics. The news today is short and sweet for the most part but back then they would do massive explanations of topics. 

The other big difference was that newspapers were held to a higher standard of quality. That's not to say that they were completely honorable, but there was more accountability than today. 

Even up until the internet, media giants were still responsible on some level for the things they said. We now live in a world with the internet. That means anyone and everyone can be a source for information for others with 0 accountability. Countless streamer grifters lie over and over on social media for more clicks. Then, other people lie about the same stuff and when that happens the first guy no longer looks un-credible. Instead, it adds credibility to the false statements. Do that but with entire group of people and it turns ugly, quick. 

There is no high level of social accountability anymore. There is nobody to fire you for saying false things online. Only being sued for defamation and losing money is a deterrent. 

We live in a new world, one that in so many ways is vastly different than even 100 years ago. This age of information will either destroy us or help shape us better down the road. It's up to us as a collective to figure ourselves out. Humanity is on a brave, dangerous, new path for itself. Only time will show us our destiny through it.

Control of the media one of the first early steps to fascism sinking its teeth in its victim. This is only the start of four years of a spinning collapse of our nation into the MAGA fascist empire Trump wants it to be. 2026 and 2028 and on the whole, the next four years is going to decide the next century for the USA.

Elon Made It Easier for Nazis to Express Themselves

The words "Nazi" and "Fascist" get used interchangeably a lot.  All Nazis are indeed fascists but not all fascists are Nazis.  In my experience, normally -not always but a lot of the time, when people call something a Nazi they mean it's fascist in nature.  There are different types of Nazis, There's the old kind, The New or "Neo "ones, along with probably other various types.  There's people who arrive at the beliefs in the image above out of hatred, bigotry, and mostly through misinformation. Then there's people who arrive there from corruption and happenstance.  Donald Trump in my opinion is not a Nazi. (Nothing about him I've learned says to me that he wants to put people in gas chambers.) He is however a fascist. The Crumbling Of Our Constitution.

 The preceding days to this post, the very foundation of the constitution of the United States of America has been challenged by it's sitting president, Donald Trump. By ignoring federal judiciary orders and therefore violating the checks and balances the judiciary is suppose to have on the executive branch. This is an absurd overreach of executive power, even called out by the conservative Chief Justice John Roberts.  You might wonder, "Well, so he ignored one order, is that really a big shift from what's going on right now?"
